OUR IMPACT

OUR PURPOSE

Accelerating the transition to a nature positive future.

The world is facing dual climate and nature crises – and agriculture is uniquely placed to address both. But to mitigate the worst effects, and protect the Earth for future generations, business as usual land management approaches won’t cut it.

We need a step change.

In pioneering profitable regenerative farming practices at scale, Impact Ag Partners are shaping a new future for food and fibre production. Where resilient, productive, and profitable agricultural systems deliver social, environmental, and economic impact and returns.

A global leader in agricultural investment and development, we identify, generate, and monetise opportunities for investment-grade agricultural and natural capital assets linked to the growing demand for sustainable, nature positive products.

Australian-owned, high conviction, and hands on, we’re partnering with purpose-driven investors to drive global impact – from the ground up.

OUR DIFFERENCE

NATURE AS CAPITAL

Natural capital refers to elements of the natural world that provide valuable goods and services to society. It applies an economic lens to the global stock of natural assets — soil, biodiversity, forests, rivers etc. — and the benefits they confer to humanity, like clean air and water, and food production.

But no economic sector needs thriving natural capital more than agriculture. Soil fertility, water purification and regulation, pest and disease control, nutrient cycling, climate regulation. A loss of any one of these ecosystem services equals a business loss, as producers incur expenses to replicate what nature once provided for free.

That’s why we dig deep on regenerative farming – to repair what’s lost, enhance long-term productivity and returns, and protect ecosystem services for future generations.

PRACTICE CHANGE

We make it easy for future-focused impact investors to invest in agricultural land for enhanced – stacked – returns across:

  • production,
  • natural capital,
  • and premiumisation markets.

Our approach starts with identifying the highest and best use for each natural asset we manage. From there, it’s all about practice change – and to foster it, we work with operational teams on the ground every day, providing the training and education needed to equip them to implement the regenerative transition across our farms and ranches.

But we want more than just change within our own asset base. We’re purpose-driven to accelerate a global transformation in agricultural land management, and engagement with local communities is key to our approach. Through community outreach, graduate development opportunities, and sponsorship of local groups and events, we’re fostering a broader awareness of profitable nature positive farming practices – and accelerating more widespread uptake.

THE IMPACT AG GREEN BOX

Our leadership team brings a wealth of experience in agricultural asset management at scale, complemented by a sophisticated, data-driven approach to regenerative farming. This unique blend has given rise to our proprietary model, the Impact Ag Green Box: everything we’ve learned about farming for nature and profit, wrapped up in one unique toolkit.

Our core IP, we leverage the Impact Ag Green Box across our entire service offering, ensuring tailored premiumisation solutions that help businesses – from asset and investment management partners to advisory clients – achieve their environmental, social, and financial objectives.

CASE STUDY

STACKED RETURNS AT WILMOT CATTLE CO.

Wilmot Cattle Co. is a global leader in regenerative farming, and for the past decade, Impact Ag Partners has been on the ground assisting the Wilmot team to transform their ~ 20,000 acre grazing operations for nature and profit.

Through regenerative soil and grazing practices, we have assisted Wilmot Cattle Co. to improve soil and vegetation quality, biodiversity, and carbon sequestration – creating and valorising natural capital revenue streams. Highlights include a landmark $500,000 soil carbon credit sale to Microsoft, and pioneering green finance deals.
